In Greek mythology, Flora was the goddess of spring and flowers, and this floral inspiration is evident in the color choice—right down to her beak, which resembles the yellow center of the blossom. Flora is produced in a limited number and is engraved with the year. The Songbird of the Year 2024 is slightly smaller than the classic Songbird, but just as charming. Like Kay Bojesen's other Songbirds, it is made from FSC®-certified beechwood, which guarantees that the trees were planted, grown, and felled responsibly. Flora is, of course, handcrafted and painted with great precision and skill in her beautiful colors. The craftsmanship that characterizes Kay Bojesen's figurines is clearly evident – as is Flora's charming personality.
